Donna-Dancing Queen (StampAnniething October Release, Day 3)

Image
Today is the final day for StampAnniething 's October Release and we have no other than Donna-Dancing Queen . Donna gave me total Cher vibes so that's where my inspiration comes from for her dress and hair.  Here are some photos of the coloring process: I decided to go with a slimline card this time around. I ink blended the background using seedless preserves, peacock feathers, mermaid lagoon, twisted citron, wild honey, picked raspberry and carved pumpkin.  The first time I saw the disco ball die, I knew I had to make a shaker element out of it so I die cut 5 disco balls out of chipboard and one disco ball out of glitter paper. Then, I die cut the circle portion of the disco ball out of the left over ink blended background and got a flat round button. I traced the button on a blank watercolor circle and cut it out. I used foam to attach the ink blended circle background to the plain background with the whole in the middle. I built the shaker by stacking the 5 layers wi...

Jackie- Foxy Momma (StampAnniething October Release, Day 2)

Today is Day 2 of StampAnniething 's October release. This time is Jackie-Foxy Momma. She is not chilling at her pad but ready to boogie! Here are some photos of the coloring process: I ink blended the background using mermaid lagoon, peacock feathers, wilted violet, seedless preserves, blueprint sketch. I placed some 1/4 inch foam tape in the corners, thread the beads and attach them to the sticky foam. I covered it with the frame included in the Conquer the World Die set.  On the dance floor I used the same technique employed in Gary-Casanova's card and, to put the final touch to the project, I made an envelope to match and embossed the word Disco (part of the stencil included this month with the Deluxe Stamp Club Membershi...

Gary-Casanova ( StampAnniething October Release, Day 1)

It's fitting that the first post in my new blog would be about one of my favorite stamping companies: StampAnniething . During the pandemic this company has become my true happy place! A very varied product line, beautiful Chibis to color, a sister SVG site , wonderful classes through their Color Youniversity division and a very active, fun and diverse community that gets together in their Facebook page. I was really honored (and nervous!) when I was asked to be a Guest Designer for their upcoming October release. When I received the products, I was so excited that I got right to work! StampAnniething's October release is all about a blast from the past so get your dancing shoes and let's boogie down! The first October release is Gary-Casanova . What a fun Chibi to color!  Here are some photos of the coloring process:  I decided to create my  own fun disco floor. I used the stencil that came with the Deluxe Stamp Club Membership to trace the floor on the back of glit...
